SSLPersonas - changes Firefox's skin if you're safe.

001

001. What does it do?

The core functionalities

SSLPersonas will change the entire browser skin whenever you visit a website that uses SSL - this means, that you are safe to login to websites where you see a green or a blue Persona.

This means that each and every online banking, shopping or e-mail website should show one of those Personas. If they don't - be aware: The site might be fake and try to steal your painfully earned money. Make sure before you login, that you see a green or blue Persona - and you're safe.

Also, I believe that many of those Warning pages you are facing on and on are harmless. Nevertheless, sometimes they really are justifiable. To let you decide more efficiently what you want to do, if you see a warning, my design displays a preview of the temporarily blocked website. And oh yeah - who reads the novel-like warning text? Noone - that's why it's reduced to a few sentences. And if you're really that interested in
what's going on, click on "Further Information" and you're provided with every detail you need to know.

The best thing is yet to come: A single click on the "Continue to site" button is enough to get you there. No more annoying "Get certificate" or "Add Exception" procedures. You're welcome.

NEWS: SSLPersonas was recently featured as Addon of the Week on "Security Now!" by Leo Laporte and Steve Gibson! What a great honor!
